“Ang aklat ng isang tunay na mag-aaral ay ang lipunang kanyang kinabibilangan. Ang kanyang guro ay ang mamamayan at ang kanyang pagsusulit ay ang pagsasagawa ng isang mapagpalayang pagkilos.”

The Nagkahiusang Kusog sa Estudyante remains to be all-out in advancing the Filipino people's cause for a society guided by nationalist and democratic ideals. Moreover, it is also strongly united with the youth and student sector in struggling for a nationalist, scientific and mass-oriented education, .
NKE stands for Nagkahiusang Kusog sa mga Estudyante. It is a political party and, at the same time, a mass organization based in UPV Cebu College. Throughout its existence, NKE has continually taken on two main duties.
As a political party, NKE fights to take the leadership among the students. Guided by its principles, it collectively engages in the local political and electoral arena, and endeavors to maintain its leadership in the Student Council (SC), being the highest legitimate body representative of the students' interests.
Secondly, NKE arouses, organizes and mobilizes the broadest number of students so as to keep them informed on the pressing local and national issues that concern their rights and welfare, and to give them a way to forge unity and to act on these matters. As an organization, NKE supports the students in the exercise of their democratic rights and lead them to liberation from campus repression.

Tsinelas Association Inc. (Tsinelas) is a non-government organization based in Cebu City, Philippines. It provides assistance to poor students in depressed areas in Cebu by ensuring that the formation they receive covers all aspects of the children's growth and development. It also helps build a community that protects the rights of children.
This year, we are expanding our endeavors by providing visually artistic children in the areas of Cebu City the opportunity to learn basic techniques in sketching, painting and sculpting as part of the overall growth and development envisioned. The art group is called Linya and is facilitated by Tsinelas members who are also in the area of visual arts. The classes are free. The students will also be provided with free art materials. They will also be given fare money to and from school, and lunch during class.
By going to this event, you are helping poor talented students get a two-month free art education.
